I think Mikhail Prokhorov might be learning pretty quickly that we do business a little differently in America. I’m not saying it’s a good or bad thing, but it appears like he is getting played here in the states. The Russian gazillionaire got no love from Carmelo Anthony…..So the Nets traded for Deron Williams. They gave up promising rookie Derrick Favors, Devon Harris, and picks. Seems like a good idea right? Maybe not….
If you have followed any of Deron Williams’ press conferences or statements he’s being AWFULLY vague. The fact he won’t sign a contract until 2012 has to be a red flag. Utah traded the guy because they didn’t want to go through what the Nuggets did with Carmelo Anthony. The Nets had a front row seat for that saga…… and now they’re going to be going through it themselves.
I get what Deron is saying. He wants to see what the Nets do, blah blah blah.. Maybe he will stay, but what can be done that will keep him there? Make no mistake about it, the Nets will pay the guy handsomely. Maybe they’ll get Dwight Howard, maybe they’ll make another great deal, or maybe it’ll be too late. You better believe that when Williams got traded to the Nets his first thought was, “Alright, it’s only a little over a year, then I can go somewhere good.” What is business guru Mikhail Prokhorov going to do to change that thought………
I know I’m getting carried away with videos today, but the news is pretty lame. NBA trade talk, NFL labor issues, Cam Newton is the next Jesus Christ, etc. You just kind of get tired of it. So it’s Friday, we’re going to do what we f$cking want to do right?! Let’s focus on the Cricket World Cup…… ummm (crickets)
Anyway, I posted an article before that made mention of a huge bet made on the 2011 Cricket World Cup. My assumption is I’m not done posting about this event. It’s interesting. (Feel free to interpret interesting any which way you want) Fortunately, I stumbled across this gem. This is what you get when you mix a Proactive commercial and cocaine. It’s like a teen dating video, with a Facebook cameo. I can’t explain it. Regardless, thing is beautiful man.
Alright, maybe the title was a little cheesy, but this is one EPIC nose pick. Plus, the guy gets absolutely blown up. I mean close up with the camera, able to slow motion the actual pick job, holy shit this guy is in trouble. There is a good chance he never gets laid again in the city of NY. These kind of events ruin your penis’ career… Sad
Picture above is freshly minted WAG Irina Sheik. She’s also the face of this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. The lucky man is pretty boy dbag, Cristiano Ronaldo. Lets take a look at some of the quality WAGs of the soccer world.
Enjoy the pics and have a nice weekend folks…

I’m not a Cardinals fan, but I do like Wainwright. This is just terribly unfortunate for him. He’s young and he’s a stud. Hopefully, he can return from this 100% and continue what was a very promising career. Such a shame.

This is the best show I’ve ever seen in my life. The girls are hot, they have tan lines, they’re slapping each other, maybe this means I’m fucked up in the head. I thought it was funny and sexy at the same time. You can tell there is some animosity towards the end. I’m not sure waiving air at your thigh is going to make it feel better, but go for it. It had to have won some kind of award. Damn these chicks are nice.
This chick’s acting career isn’t long and it certainly isn’t distinguished, but because she’s been in movies and on TV she’s on our radar. Why does she get the nod today? Well, I found her interesting because she’s been married to a man, now she’s dating a woman, and tends to flip flop back and forth from like weiners or clams. Oh and she’s smokin’ hot….
Take a look….
Spring Training for the St. Louis Cardinals hasn’t gotten off on the best foot. We’re all aware of the well-documented Pujols negotiations. Now, word from camp is that Adam Wainwright may have a serious elbow injury that requires Tommy John Surgery. I can’t imagine two worse pieces of news to start the season…….
I’m not going to get into the fact that Wainwright‘s injury pretty much eliminates the Cardinals from any hopes of postseason play. Without him, they may be behind the Reds, Brewers, and Cubs in the NL Central. Unfortunately, I do believe there are serious implications to having the Cardinals’ ace sidelined for over a year.
Pujols. He’s not signed. He wants to play for a winner, and St. Louis simply isn’t going to win without Wainwright. Period. Now this is just speculation, but if he can’t get his money, and they have a terrible season, you better believe he’s going to shop the market. It’s pretty much a situation that can be monitored day-by-day as the season goes along. What if he decides he wants out?
Which leads to my final point…… If you’re losing, Wainwright won’t be back until next June, and you can’t accomplish a think on the Pujols front, why not trade him? You saw what happened with Carmelo Anthony and Deron Williams. Do you realize how much you can get for this guy? You can’t tell me that the Cardinals won’t have this in the back of their mind. Sure, they want to keep Albert. Absolutely, but if it doesn’t look good…. you gotta pull the eject button.
