I’m surprised the kid didn’t file a lawsuit with what goes on these days. I like David Wright, and I’m a Yankees fan so what does that tell you. I think he needs a change of scenary. The Mets are a toxic organization. Anyway, just having a little fun in the Spring. Thank goodness baseball is here

What do we think about Drew Barrymore? I mean one minute she looks gorgeous, the next you’re like what the hell is that? I wonder what drives her sex appeal. You think it’s because she was naughty when she was younger?  I don’t know, I’ve been trying to figure her out for years. I guess I’ll go thumbs up, you?

Take a look….

Harrison Barnes is a freshman at North Carolina. Harrison Barnes hit a huge 3-pointer to beat Florida State last night. Sure, he could have missed this shot, but if you watch the video it didn’t seem like it was ever in doubt.

The importance of the shot? A chance to win the ACC regular season championship this weekend at home vs. Duke. Could you have scripted it any better? No, you really couldn’t have. I saw this game’s line last night at -3 for North Carolina. I said to myself, “Damn that could be a trap game for them.” The fact is they could have easily lost in Tallahassee (like Duke did earlier this year) rendering this weekend’s game meaningless. However…..

Barnes calmly stroked the 3, and now we have a HELLUVA game to look forward to this weekend. March is here folks, and THAT was a huge shot for the freshman.

It’s been an interesting year thus far in college basketball off the court. There has been a hand full of suspensions, and I want answers. Yesterday, it was revealed that Brandon Davies was suspended from the BYU basketball team because he had sex. I’m not trying to make light of it. Those are the rules at BYU, and he violated them. He knew them coming in.

Here’s the thing, we can juxtapose these suspensions and try to connect them, but at the end of the day they simply reflect the University more so than anything else. What goes on at BYU is a lot different than what goes on at Mississippi State. Certainly, the NCAA and Conferences play a role in this, but regardless, I found it interesting…

Take a look a 5 suspensions that occurred this college basketball season and see if the punishment meets the crime…

This makes me sad. I was pulling for BYU in the tournament. The bottomline is they will not go as far as they could without one of their better players, but hey, stranger things have happened. Very curious. An honor code violation. What the hell is that? He’s not at the Military Academy. My feeling is honor code, may be code word for drugs, sex, and all other types of ill shit.

This guy was probably more into a Spring Training game then most fans were doing the regular season. Is it me or does he sound like a dude out of the WWE. I had flashbacks of Macho Man Randy Savage. Go Diamondbacks!

Heidi Klum started everything in terms of Swimsuit sexiness. I feel like there would be no Marissa Miller and tons others without Heidi Klum. She’s just epically hot. She married Seal and then disappeared off the face of the earth for the most part. Fortunately, we will never forget.

Andy Sonnanstine opened Spring Training with high hopes. Being in the Tampa starting rotation wasn’t a lock, but it looked quite possible. Well…… if his Spring Training Debut is any foreshadowing of what’s to come from him this season, he may be pitching in Taiwan before it’s all said and done.

Sonnanstine’s stats looked like this 2 IP, 6 hits, 6 Runs, and 1 strike out. You’re sitting there saying, “Well, ok it’s bad, but it’s not deadly.” You’re right, and it’s just Spring, BUT what jumps out at you is the number 5 on his pitching line. As in 5 home runs given up. Here’s how it went down….

Sonnanstine saw 12 batters. He threw 18 pitches 15 of which were strikes. Of his 15 strikes, 5 of them were blasted out of the park. 2 by Nick Markakis, and 1 each for Adam Jones, Vlad, and Jake Fox. Pretty impressive eh?

Well, Andy wasn’t too worried about it. Afterall, it’s just Spring Training. Me personally, my next star would be the difference in moving forward feeling good, or jumping off a bridge.
