What makes the NBA so special? For the first time in a long time I will say the NFL has it right. The NBA’s draft rule has to change. It’s making college basketball look semi-professional while ruining it as well.

Look at the NCAA Tournament this year. Butler, VCU, etc. I’m not taking a shot at the little guys. I think it’s great they make it to the Final Four, but there’s a reason they do and it’s not just Cinderella. They have 4 year players!! How many 4 year players did Kentucky have? You think you are going to see Jeremy Lamb, Alex Oriachi, and Roscoe Smith from UCONN for four years. Hell you won’t even remember Brandon Knight next year…..

The NBA has to change their rules to 3 years of college hoops. Duke didn’t even get a taste of Kyrie Irving and he’s out. It’s destroying the landscape of college basketball. Basically, John Calipari tells guys give me one year and I’ll get you ready for the pro’s. What kind of college recruiting is that? It takes away from the game. College basketball would have been amazing this year if Blake Griffin, John Wall, etc. were still playing. Not to mention, it’d be nice to give the kids a chance to mature a little before they are thrown millions. The rule needs to change, and everyone would benefit.
