Your boy had his ACL reconstructed last week. Let me tell you right now, that shit is no joke. You know how you see the star athlete go down in the game, then months later you see him in this inspiring training montage. Well, there’s a reason why they don’t show you the first two weeks after his surgery. The shit is brutal.
Fittingly, today’s theme is going to be untimely injuries. Injuries to key players, in key games. Since there have been so many, we’ll do some more recent ones.
Take a look…
(5) Colt McCoy Hurt in National Championship

Texas played Nebraska in the National Championship in 2010. Colt McCoy the star quarterback, and arguably the best player in the country went down with a shoulder injury (Take a look). The game was over in that moment.
(4) Jay Cutler hurt in NFL Playoffs

We’re all familiar with this story. Cutler was killed in the media for this questioning his injury. Regardless, his injury did hurt the Bears in a 21-14 game that was a defensive struggle until the end.
This should come as no surprise that the injury prone Yao would be on here. In 2009 the Rockets had it all together man. They were in the second round of the playoffs vs. the Lakers tied 1-1, and Yao goes down. The sad thing is they went to 7 games in the series.
(2) Willis McGahee in Fiesta Bowl

Do you remember this game? Epic. The bogus pass interference call vs. Ohio State? McGahee was as dominant as a running back as we’ve seen that season for the ‘Canes, and absolutely shredded his knee. He was doing well at the time of the injury so who knows what would have been the outcome.
(1) Your Boy in 2010 Basketball League

Talk about untimely. Unathletic is taking off. Everything is going good. I’m getting back on track in my hoops career, and curtains. Shit sucks man, and it’s a long road back. Nice legs right?
