Donna D’Errico didn’t bring much to the table in her acting career, but who does these days. I mean there are similar stories that have had more publicity, and I call it unfair. It wasn’t the start Knicks fans were dreaming of for Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks in the playoffs. Surely, it was a “moral victory” as the Knicks fell on a late three by Ray Allen, but “moral victories” don’t mean shit these days.
The fact of the matter is the Knicks had the game won. They just couldn’t close, and Carmelo Anthony was a big reason why they lost. If you watched the game you saw Anthony, get stripped, miss shots, and get called for an offensive foul during the final crucial two minutes of the game. He was pretty much atrocious. Not the start we were hoping for…..
But, I’m not going to get to worked up today. We’re looking at progress my friends. I don’t think there was a better signing than Amar’e Stoudemire in the offseason. I really don’t. The guy looked terrific last night. If the Knicks add a true PG, and a shooter we could be looking at big things. The Celts are going to win the series, I’ll spare you the suspense, but the Knicks are moving in the right direction. And if ‘Melo steps his game up a little bit, there is no reason not to be optimistic.
Your boy had his ACL reconstructed last week. Let me tell you right now, that shit is no joke. You know how you see the star athlete go down in the game, then months later you see him in this inspiring training montage. Well, there’s a reason why they don’t show you the first two weeks after his surgery. The shit is brutal.
Fittingly, today’s theme is going to be untimely injuries. Injuries to key players, in key games. Since there have been so many, we’ll do some more recent ones.

Let me get this game straight. You take a broom to a gnarly hill, you spin around, then you start running down the hill. Who comes up with this shit? Like this was suppose to be fun? How do you win this game? If you make it all the way down the hill without falling? I’m not going to lie, even if I made it down the hill I’d still feel like a bag of dicks.
I’ve been laid up for a week so I’ve had some time on my hands. I saw The Fighter. I thought it was great. Amy Adams is in it, and I totally am not a guy who goes for red heads, but I don’t know there’s something about her.
