The Top 5 Golf Vacation Spots

After the ACL tear, I’m thinking about amping up my golf career. I could always hold my own, but I think at my age it’s time to make golf a priority. It’s safe right? So here’s the plan… I am going to spend this summer working on my game. I’m going to make myself a superb golfer. Then after the summer ends, I am going to hit up some golf vacations.

So if golf vacations are in my future, we might as well research the 5 tops spots. Lets see if I can hit all of them up in a year or so…..

(5) Hilton Head, South Carolina

I’ve never been to Hilton Head, but I hear wonderful things about it. 22 Golf Courses in 12 miles, sounds like a great golf vacation to me. I suppose Harbour Town Golf Links would be a priority.

(4) Phoenix, Arizona

Breathtaking isn’t it? You can’t go wrong with Phoenix and Scottsdale, AZ. There are over 100 courses, most of which are as beautiful as the picture you see above. I’m sold on this one big time.

(3) Hawaii, The Big Island

#’s 4, and 3 have me excited. There are beautiful courses in Hawaii, and it’s a great vacation spot. The Big Island has courses that garner worldwide recognition, including Waikoloa Beach pictured above.

(2) Pebble Beach

My total bias here. I, like many, am totally infatuated with Pebble Beach. I love everything about it, and it would be a dream vacation. An expensive dream vacation. I need to get good though!

(1) St. Andrews

The rich tradition and history coupled with the beauty makes St. Andrews the ultimate golf destination. 18 holes to soak in one of the greatest courses in the world.

  2. I would take Bandon Dunes over a couple of your picks. Not just for the golf but for value. You wont feel like your a** was plowed when you get your bill.
