Week 1: Josh Tomlin – W, 6 IP, 2 Runs, 5 hits, 1 Walk, 3 K’s
Week 2: Josh Tomlin – 7 2/3 IP, 3 Hits, 2 Runs, 5 K’s
Week 3: Homer Bailey – W, 7 IP, 5 Hits, 0 Runs, 5 K’s
Week 4: Josh Collmenter – W, 6 IP, 2 Hits, 0 Runs

You know the rules, if they are under-40% owned in Yahoo Sports League they are fair game. Remember we’re talking waiver wire guys so we’re not getting no-hitters. My losers are doing pretty well too. Get on the train…

Why Dillon Gee? Dillon’s 2 for 3 in his last 3 outings in terms of tossing credible fantasy innings. He faces the the Cubbies on Wednesay and I may ride the train. I like the spot here for him. He’s got tidy numbers, but like all spot starters his K/9 ratio is weak sauce.

Why Erik Bedard? Bedard is that sexy chick that you know is trouble. I’m seduced by, ironically, his K/9 and shrinking WHIP. He’s got the Twinkies this week, and they’ve got some lefties so I like that matchup assuming his arm doesn’t fall off.

Verdict: Bedaaaaard is the winner. I know this is going to come back to bite me in the ass, but his past 4 starts have been fantastic.

Bonus Tip: I don’t know what the story is but Josh Collmenter is still 10% owned and he’s been unhittable. My new rule is I can’t pick a guy two weeks in a row. The Tomlin Rule.
