For those of you who have been under a rock, Aaron Rome of the Vancouver Canucks has been suspended for the rest of the Stanley Cup because of this cheap shot on Nathan Horton. For me it’s a tough call, he did go high and it was not the cleanest play in hockey, but I’ve seen worse. I don’t think Rome had malicious intent. Then again, I could be totally wrong. Either way, it’s part of hockey, and we have video proof of that…

Nasty hits seem to follow the Bruins this year eh? This one just makes you cringe.

This one isn’t that bad at all. It almost makes you laugh. Like I said before, the difference between this hit and Rome’s is a fraction of body placement.
