5 Reasons to Attend Wimbledon

Wimbledon started yesterday. I decided to go for the most challenging post of the year…. Try and convince Unathletic readers that Wimbledon would be worth attending. I know I’m up against it. Tennis isn’t the most popular sport, and I don’t think the All England Club is throwing any bangin’ parties anytime soon. The best tennis players have gathered in London for one of the four Tennis majors. Lets do this. This is going to be tough….

Wimbledon started yesterday, and here are 5 reasons it would be worth attending.

 

5. The Historic London Sites

There are hundreds of things to see in London, and if you haven’t seen them you should. There are Cathedrals, Palaces, and all types of other structures that would be nice to check out between matches.

4. There Are Some Hot British Chicks

Lets face it.. There isn’t quantity, but there is quality. A lot of quality. Just look at this list.. if you’re going for your social agenda I don’t think you’ll be let down.

3. The All England Club is Rich With History

As mentioned above Wimbledon is held at the All England Club. It’s a beautiful place that is rich with history, think old Yankee Stadium, Notre Dame’s Football Stadium, Rupp Arena.. You get what I’m saying..

1. We As Fans Need Some Etiquette Lessons

Everything you see at a game in our beloved country wouldn’t fly in London. I think it’d be nice if some of our barbaric fans got a lesson in etiquette at the All England Club. For real….
