Just the other day one of the guys in my fantasy league brought up a great topic.  He asked the question “if you were a closer in the major leagues what song would you come out to?”

There were tons of pretty great answers.  I personally said “Jitterbug” by Wham as a goof but my honest answer was the song by New Noise featured in the movie Friday Night Lights.   I don’t know how I’d contain myself with that guitar riff.

After some research I’ve come up with a solid list of great closer songs we’ve seen played throughout the major leagues.  Hope you enjoy the list…..

The Vancouver Canucks lost Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals two nights ago. Since the final horn sounded the internet has been inundated with videos of rioting, fighting, and all types of ill sh$t. Instead of trying to find the hottest videos, and being on the cutting edge, we at Unathletic decided to pull a little bullsh$t scavenging. We perused the blog world and found the best videos from the riots.

Last night’s Game 7 wasn’t a great game. I think the Bruins deserved to with the Stanley Cup so I am fine with the outcome. Sorry Daniel Sedin, I told you the guarantee was a bad idea.

According to FIFA rules and regulations, the throw-in you are witnessing in the video is legal. I think. I tried to find it out, but who knows. Either way, why is that kid just standing there on a throw-in, you don’t do that. That’s not a smart play. Either way, I don’t think this is staged and that kid got rocked.

Two days ago I had the pleasure of attending my nephew’s first concert.  He’s eight years old and he’s in some school chorus.   In addition to his little group I got to hear the orchestra as well as band.  It was typical of any 3rd grade concert.   Absolutely horrendous from a realistic perspective but cute as hell.  Why do I bring this up?  Because the entire time some bald guy with pimples on the back of his shaved head were staring me in the face.

Hell I’m 6 feet tall and it didn’t matter.  It was brutal.   Honestly if the dude had a sign like this it would’ve made me feel a whole lot better.   Granted I don’t think I could ever do this at a ballgame but you gotta give the kid credit for doing so.

Clearly the guy to his right doesn’t approve of it.

Let me just say this; if you can wear this outfit and get shit on for wearing it, yet still look sexy as hell and turn the male species on you are sexy as hell. Period. She wowed us in Varsity Blues and she is still wowing us to this day..

The US Open started today under cloudy skies with a little bit of rain. The best players in the world will battle it out for four days, at what is usually the always challenging, Congressional in Bethesda, Maryland. Even though there is no Tiger in the field, the Open is most certainly worth watching.

If you’re an avid golfing fan you probably don’t need reasons. You know the Phil Mickelson has finished second 5 times at the US Open. You know that Rory McIlroy will be looking to break through after his well-documented struggles at Augusta. You’re not worried because the top golfers in the world ARE in the field. And finally, you know there is nothing better than watching the final round on Father’s Day with your pops.

I’m a Mickelson guy like many others, so I’m hoping Phil can put it together and be atop the leaderboard on Sunday. Even if you’re a Tiger fan, the tournament should make for some very entertaining sports this weekend. Watch It!

As many of you know, I’m not the biggest fan of soccer or football depending on where you are residing.   I understand the sports popularity but I guess I just have a hard time watching a sport where the scoring is so incredibly low.   Not to mention the amount of fake injuries that can make you vomit at times.

But I digress.   These guys get the hottest women in the world and there’s no denying that outside of the U.S. it’s more popular than any sport in the world.   Like any sport some of the iconic players have received nick names.

While I think most nicknames aren’t that great there are 10 whose names I found pretty interesting…..
