Other than the funny commercials you see on ESPN, it’s not often that you’ll see a funny sports parody out there. I think that Jimmy Kimmel does a great job of making fun of sports and leveling down athletes to that of humans that can get made to look stupid like the rest of us, but not too many outlets parody sports all that well.
Enter Funny or Die and I think they’ve done a kick ass job in the last year or so. In particular there are five videos I’d like to share that I think are worth a look……
This has always been a touchy issue for us here at Unathletic. You have to be very careful when discussing this subject as to not appear sexist. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, let me tell you… There are two types of chicks out there when it comes to sports. There’s the annoying pretender and the actual sports babe. Sometimes it’s not that easy to decipher. You may think you’ve found a winner, and then one of the signs pops up and she’s a pretender. Let us try and help you when it comes to sorting out the situation..

I think it’s pretty safe to say that most of us out there are definitely rooting for the young lad this weekend. Here’s to you Rory. And here’s hoping that you have reason to take down shots like this.

Presented by Farmer’s Insurance, you have four PGA stars with the ability to poke fun at themselves. I love it. You have to be able to have a little fun with yourself even when you are big time.I love it. Just what the PGA needs right now. Enjoy.
This is just all kinds of wrong. Kareem is psychotic and wants his own statue. He’s been on a rampage lately about the all-time greatest players and scorers. The guy seems like he wants his “due” when he’s already known for being amazing. His latest move?
Posing in this idiotic picture with none other than…Eminem? Honestly I don’t really understand this one. I mean buddy, you’re in your 60s. You’re not a rock star or a rapper. You’re into Yoga and in no way shape or form are you hip.
I’m also 99% sure that Eminem puked 10 seconds right before this picture was taken. Oh, of course, they’re “broing down at Bonnaroo!” Eh, it still doesn’t make this even remotely right.
Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Rory McIlroy is back atop a leaderboard at a Major again, waaaayyyyy atop. Rory stormed to a -10 under, 7 stroke lead this morning, and looks to be in superb form. I don’t think I am going out on a limb by saying, don’t expect another collapse from Rory.
I’m happy Phil has gotten himself back to Even, but Rory looks like the best player on the course without question. I understand he had a nightmare of a Masters tournament, and that could have been something that really got into his head. He could be the A-Rod of golf. I don’t think so. First and foremost, the kid is LOADED with talent. He storms out to these amazing scores on an amazingly tough course. I would be very happy if he redeemed himself at the U.S. Open.
We’re Phil guys at Unathletic, but if Rory wins we’ll be happy. He’s a good kid, he’s handled himself great through the situation. I’m telling you… This time don’t expect a collapse….
Is Nicole Kidman hot? I mean I’ve seen her nude, I’ve seen sex scenes with her in them. I’m kinda feeling her. I’m not sure I can put her in the same class as the other woman we put up on her, but she can still do the damn thing. I can dig her.
