The Ten Best Boxing Movie Villains

Posted by in Other

Movie villains is certainly not a new topic to most of you. Hell even sports movie villains isn’t even new. But have you ever seen an article written specifically about boxing movie villains? Aha!

See how clever we are here? Seriously though, there are that many boxing movie out there that one could come up with a decent list, which is something I believe we did here.

So sit back and enjoy these 10 awesome boxing movie villains….

Apollo Creed – Rocky Movies

Come on. He’s clearly one of if not the best person on this list. Kind of a Muhammad Ali model but way better looking and much much cooler. And that’s hard to do.

Max Baer – Cinderella Man

He may have been a real person but in this movie it’s gotta warrant some attention. Dude was portrayed as a maniac. Also, the fact that he previously killed a dude in a fight is pretty badass.

Clubber Lang – Rocky III

“Pain.” Personally I like “Hey woman! Hey woman!” Mr. T is the man.

Ivan Drago – Rocky IV

Easily the scariest of all of Rocky’s opponents. The height difference was absurd. “If he dies, he dies.”

Hammerhead Hagan – Diggstown

Bet you guys thought I’d forget the hammer didn’t you? Guy is a total wrecking machine. Although a well aged flabby Gossett Jr. beats him? Come on now.

Billie The Blue Bear – Million Dollar Baby

Look at that kisser. Gorilla Monsoon would be proud.

Jake La Motta - Raging Bull

I say villain because clearly he was his own worst enemy in this film.

Jimmy Horn – Gladiator

Dennehy never really gets enough credit for how cool he was in the 1992 Gladiator. Plus his little outfit at the end is hilarious.

James “The Grim Reaper” Roper – Great White Hype

Come on, when he’s running after the ice cream man? Priceless.

George “Iceman” Chambers – Undisputed

Tough guy.
