Tragedy hit the baseball world yesterday as a fan plummeted 20 feet out of the stands to his death at the Ballpark in Arlington. The fan was reaching out for a ball that Josh Hamilton threw into the stands after making the third out during last night A’s vs. Rangers game.
Team President Nolan Ryan had this to say,
“I think as any of us would be, Josh is very distraught over this as the entire team is,” Ryan said. Ryan added that the Rangers are “very heavy-hearted about this.”
I’ll warn you if you click on the link, the story is gut-wrenching. The man was attending the game with his son. After his fall he was conscious asking paramedics to check on his son. There isn’t really anything you can say, except it’s tragic and our prayers go out to the family. The only positive thing I can say is that the Rangers have shown they are an organization of the highest class this year, and I would have never guessed that. Very sad story, my heart breaks for the son.
I do not have any children yet. When you don’t have children you get to see the fantasized version of having kids. The cute stuff, not the poop, pee, crying, etc. Every now and then you get to see the temper tantrums. Lets face it. Temper tantrums are a part of life, some are hilarious and some are pretty annoying.

OK screw the news on Michael Beasley. Can we all just agree that the guy is a total moron? Jesus Christ guy, like a year after all these marijuana trouble and substance abuse crap you go and get caught? Man, at least hide it better.
In other more fun news, Kevin Durant decided to share his nightly duds with all of us. This picture was taken on plane traveling to China. Looks like the dude gets an entire wing for himself.
Also, I’m surprised the ceiling is that high. Remember Durant is 6’9. Interesting.
I must apologize. We’ve been doing an Unathletic Non-Athlete of the Day for a long time now, and I am yet to feature Keeley Hazell. I must admit, a gross error on my part. Keeley Hazell pretty much invented the busty look. She is the originator and there is none greater than her in the chest industry. She’s not just funbags either. She’s pure greatness.

The stadium roof of FC Twente a futbol club in Netherlands has collapsed trapping an unknown amount of people inside. The stadium had been under construction in the town of Enschede a town close to the border of Germany. Ironically, FC Twente had a hold on the Eredevisie title last season if it wasn’t for a last game loss to Ajax.
More importantly, police, medical services and others are on the scene attempting to uncover anyone stuck in the rubble. From the looks of the picture it doesn’t appear as if there is a ton of weight that came down so there is a strong chance that there are many survivors in the accident.
People on the scene said they saw the roof begin to sway early in the afternoon right before it collapsed. People were working on the roof when it happened. Very scary scene and we hope everyone is ok.
As many of you know and probably don’t care about, the Roger Clemens perjury trial has begun. Yesterday marked the jury selection process in which people will be paid privately by Clemens to find him innocent on all charges.
By the way, does anyone care about this? No. Just like no one cared about Bonds. While I am amongst the many who doesn’t care, what I do care about is entertaining all of you.
Speaking of which, Clemens definitely had his moments. Here are seven worth mentioning….
