I think that many of us have been stressed out when our favorite team is losing a crucial game.  I think all of us have hit something or banged our heads.  Hell we’ve even screamed to the top of our lungs a few times.

But I think it’s safe to say that none of us have ever reacted this way.

I mean come on buddy.  Pull it together.

I’d like to date Amy Smart. She’s cute, sexy, and she seems like a pretty down-to-earth chick. Everyone remembers the scene in Road Trip when she got naked. That changed people’s lives. I’m surprised she didn’t win an award for that performance. Anyway, if anyone knows Amy Smart let me know, I’d like to date her…

Plaxico Burress, freshly out of prison, may be on the verge of rejoining the New York Giants. The two parties are set to meet today, and potentially could iron out a deal that would put the troubled wide receiver back with Big Blue.

Here’s the obvious: if Plax signs with the Giants, and the Giants (which we will assume) can resign WR Steve Smith, then the Giants may have the best WR corps in the NFL. Plaxico, Hakeem Nicks, and Steve Smith are almost uncoverable. Then add the likes of Mario Manningham (who almost had a thousand yards last year), and Kevin Boss, and Eli Manning has to be thinking that if he doesn’t have the best passing year of his career he should jump off a cliff.

Now the not so obvious.. Plaxico Burress has been out of the NFL for a couple years. He was also a huge problem when he was with the Giants in terms of discipline off the field. Has he had a come to Jesus? Do we have reason to believe that he may have changed his ways? That remains to be seen. I guess at the end of the day, when he gets back in football shape, he’s still a dominant receiver. The Giants offense would be absolutely potent with him. I’d say go for it.

I’ve mentioned on this site how I love Dustin Pedroia.   And the reasons are pretty clear.   He’s a small guy with a huge ego, backs it up on the field and is absolutely hilarious.

In a similar light but not with the same ego, we move to the NBA.  It’s almost impossible not to like Steve Nash.  He’s relatively short for the NBA, has ridiculous athletic skills, and happens to be one of the funniest guys out there.  Plus he looks like Kelly Leek so it’s even better.

In honor of the little Canadian, here are some hilarious videos….

Let me first preface this article by saying that I am using the term “dork” with total endearment. I have nothing, but the utmost respect for these guys are players, and some of them as people. There’s nothing wrong with being a dork, everyone has a little dork in them. Some guys just show it more than others.

If you look at the history of baseball, there are a few guys that stick out as dorks. Even they would admit it. Some of them actually made commercials exploiting it. The good news is they had to be pretty damn good to even be noticed.

Is this legal or illegal? What the hell is going on here? These cops are like Super Troopers, and this is like a Chinese fire drill. I mean this chick looks like she’s absolutely insane, and she is resisting, but is this legal? I would have went for the tasing. Seriously. This is way worse than just giving someone a little tase.

Oddly enough this picture was taken at the Rookie symposium in Sarasota,  Florida but don’t you think it somewhat speaks volumes?  There has never been a more representative picture of this entire mess than this one.

Well, at least it appears that the worst is over.  And seriously folks, was there ever really a reason to care?  Yeah I guess we all want our football but personally I could have gone the last 2 months without knowing a thing and then found out today, “players and owners agree on a deal.”

Hooray!   Would have saved me some time.
