Just the other month Bleacher Report did a great piece on trick plays in sports.   Since there were 25 of them I figured I’d pair it off into a solid list of seven that most of you would enjoy.

It wasn’t easy going through all of these but you’d be surprised at some of the talent out there.   Then again, I guess I’m surprised at some of the stupidity of the opposing teams.

Spurrier Calls a Trick Play Against Kentucky

Pretty awesome that they could keep passing the ball off without anyone seeing.  Nicely done.

Playing Keepaway against BC

Trick play against Boston College. Third Baseman Zack Powers pulls the oldest trick in the book to stop BC’s Momentum.

The Pop and Roll Play

Bethel College’s quarterback pops the ball up and back behind himself to one of his receivers, who is then able to keep himself upright just enough to score

Fake Lacrosse Pass Off Play

Guy flips it up to teammate, but the ball comes back to the guy who flipped it.  Decoy runs towards the net and defense and goalie fall for it including the ref. other guy just walks in and scores

Not bad for a bunch of kids.

This is one of the best fake Lacrosse plays of all time.
