Granted the latest news in the world using the phrase “Vlad the Impaler” has to do with Prince Charles claiming him as an ancestor I cannot help but to think about Vladimir Guerrero taking down some helpless female fan in an alley.
Don’t get me wrong Vlad. I know you’re a good dude and all but don’t tell me you didn’t do some awesome stuff when you were up in Canada playing for the Expos. I mean come on. We all know that strip clubs there are all nude. And you weren’t even that recognized a player yet. I mean yeah your last couple years there were great. Ah whatever. It was Canada!

I figured we go nice and light for Friday. That is, of course, depending on how you look at it. Shots to the groin area don’t really discriminate in terms of sports. It’s equal opportunity.
At least in baseball and football you get to wear a cup. The other sports it’s pretty much just pray your doctor can untangle your balls without repercussions.

The Fall Classic lived up to it’s billing last night. I’ll tell you what; I’ve been poo-pooing the World Series from the jump. Last night, I was happy to admit I was wrong. I was also happy that I chose Game 6 to be the game I watched in it’s entirety. Last night….. may have been the greatest game in the history of the World Series.
The Texas Rangers were 1 strike away from winning the World Series TWICE. David Freese got them the first time in the 9th. Lance Berkman got them the second time in the 10th. The hometown kid Freese finished them off in the 11th. Absolutely amazing game. Epic comeback. You name it. Personally, I was very happy that Berkman came through……….
Wasn’t it such a promising year for the Colts? Mr. Peyton Manning was definitely going to lead these guys to the playoffs and maybe even the promised land again. But oh how things change. Oh how not having one man on your team can make a difference. I tell ya, if there’s ever a season to award the MVP to a guy that’s not playing it’s clearly this one.
Do you realize how revved up Colts Fans were? Ugh. Now the 0-7 is really starting to come through in a bad way. Frankly it’s kind of gross and we better see something this weekend. Hope, something, anything.
So now, when I look back at these pictures of their cheerleaders visiting hospitals and the military, it’s almost bittersweet isn’t it? Sucks. Well, the pictures are still awesome….
It’s education day here at Unathletic. Today, we will be looking at the most expensive sports stadiums in the world. I’m sure there will be some of you smart fans that have a good idea who’s at the top, and then there will be those not-so-smart fans who may not know.
Personally, I was a little surprised at the data compiled for today’s article. It’s pretty obvious that the newer the stadium the more expensive it’s going to be. It was beneficial to learn who’s at the top internationally.
