I’m still having a hard time coming to grips with the fact there is an NBA season that includes free agents. All I know I’m thinking about is get this half-assed season over with so Chris Paul can sign with the Knicks. That’s what I’m talking about.

Let’s get something straight.  I’ll always be a Larry Bird fan and he’ll always be my favorite clutch shooter, hell any shooter in the history of the game, but let’s give credit where credit is due.  When it comes to three point contest performances, Craig Hodges not only holds the best score, but the two best scores.

In this video he scores 24 which is one shy of his record.  However, the reason I posted this video and not the 25 point performance is because of how many he hits in a row here.  It’s absolutely absurd.  I think he runs out of gas otherwise he could have had a shot at 30.

I mean we here of guys who hit 100 free throws in a row in practice but in front of a huge crowd when it counts?  This is superb.

A little late to the party on this video, but just in case you missed it we have Tim Tebow as DJ Khaled. Now that I think about it, I wonder if God would approve. You might want to check out this video, before Tebow has it removed for religious purposes.

I’m one of the few people that don’t sh$t on Tebow. I think he’s a little over the top, but W’s are W’s. The team also seems to rally behind him. Unfortunately, I do think that his fairy tale isn’t going to last forever. Anyway, enjoy the video.

Hopefully, everyone had a nice Thanksgiving weekend full of football. This week’s edition of the NFL fan gallery is special because we’re going to have some Turkey Day fans make the cut. Isn’t that cute?

As we’ve seen for the past 11 weeks, there is never a shortage of “special” fans who make it out to the games. This week was no different. I’m predicting we are going to be short Eagles fans going forward because there may be a mass-suicide in Philadelphia, or San Diego for that matter. Who’s buying into Tebow??

Enjoy the gallery…

Bobby Valentine accepted the Boston Red Sox’s offer Tuesday to become their next manager, according to Tommy Lasorda, special assistant to Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt. Valentine, an EPSN TV analyst, was a finalist along with Detroit Tigers third-base coach Gene Lamont, is expected to be introduced Thursday at a press conference, according to ESPN.

With the Mets, Valentine was 536-467 (.534) over seven seasons (1996-2002) and won the National League pennant in 2000. During his eight-year tenure (1985-1992) with the Rangers, he was 581-605 (.480). He has not managed in the major leagues since 2002. He has worked for ESPN as an analyst the last two seasons.

I’m trying to gauge the sentiment in Boston about this hiring. I think it’s safe to say there aren’t many Bobby Valentine fans out there. His personality in the Red Sox dugout could be explosive. However, the guy was handed a silver platter with this team. They are obviously a playoff contender, and if he can keep them on course he may win the fans over. At the end of the day, I think Theo put together a disaster in Boston, which is why he bailed. Bobby Valentine’s personality just adds fuel to the fire. He’s going to be like a pansy version of Rex Ryan, which is going to be insufferable.

As we continue to scrap out full names of cheerleaders we’ll continue to feature them on this site.   Today we feature yet another Tampa Bay Buccaneers girl.   This one goes by the name of Cynthia Bastos.

Here’s some crucial information on Bastos.   She’s from Rhode Island but professes to “become Southern,” which we love.   This is her 3rd year as a Bucs cheerleader.  She graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in Business Management.   When she’s not working for the Bucs she does project management for an Electrical Contractor.

She hopes to be her own CEO someday and she loves to run boot camp exercises.   Oh and she’s really attractive.  More of Cynthia after the jump…

The beautiful thing about Championship games; anyone can become a legend. Every year, there seems to be someone who steals the show in a title game and becomes a legend. Sometimes, it’s not the super star or future Hall of Famer, but more often than not it is….

Admittedly, the usage of “no-name” is a bit dramatic because obviously we knew who most of these athletes were before their big moment. It’s clear that they will be forever remembered for this game, not their careers.

Take a look and feel free to offer up your choice…

I’m not an Ohio State fan, nor am I a huge Urban Meyer fan, but I will say this right now; this guy will bring a National Championship to Ohio State sooner than you think. This is exactly what the program needed. If I’m an Ohio State fan, I’m feeling really good about this…
