I’ve gone on plenty about how I’m not a big fan of soccer but even I’m a little geeked up at the prospect that a pretty sick English matchup is going to be taking place this weekend. Yes, that’s right. Chelsea is going to be matched up against Liverpool but what’s even more interesting is that it’s on Fox.
So basically American soccer still isn’t big in America but International soccer is making its way to our networks. I guess whatever floats your boat.
Something tells me that English and Irish bars are going to be filled with drunken, loud, masculine dudes wearing jerseys and screaming for 3 hrs. I think I’ll pass on the bar scene but perhaps turn on the tube for this game.
