Not that this is a sport but did you know that a couple of weeks ago there was an entire week dedicated to gaming that took place in Paris? It was called Paris Games Week. What does this mean exactly? Well it’s just another in a string of 1000s of shows dedicated to video games and geek stuff.
What does this have to do with sports? Well, not much except that cheerleaders are pretty much tearing up the gaming market these days. You can’t find a gaming convention that doesn’t include cheerleaders or booth babes. So yeah, it applies to us.
Enjoy this small sample of ladies from Paris Games Week 2011…..

Are the Giants and Patriots developing a nice little rivalry? Perhaps. This still doesn’t mean Eli is better than Brady. Quite frankly, I don’t even really think it means the Pats are better than the Giants in the long run. However, HUGE win for the Gmen.

I knew people liked Manny Pacquiao. Hell I like Manny Pacquiao after seeing him sing with Jimmy Kimmel the other night. That was friggin’ amazing. And considering he’s supposed to be the best pound for pound fighter out there (until Mayweather proves otherwise) it’s to be expected there’d be some loyalty out of the fan base.
But a tattoo this size on your torso? Come on buddy. I mean what has Manny done for you lately other than sing a few ballads and knock out some heads?
This dude could seriously be a star if he wanted to. Hilarious. What the hell is this? The guy is flying down an open road? Did anyone else see a car drive by and almost take him out? Once he got the speed wobbles that was it. He was done for. The foreign element of this only makes it better.
The side judge was actually pretty banged up from this hit. Guy throws a flag and then gets steamrolled. I really have to give the ref a poor grade for elusiveness. I feel like he could have side-stepped this hit. Ironically, Stanford steamrolled Oregon State in this game too.
Do you know how hard it is to make Jose Canseco look good? Do you know how f$cking hard it is to do something like that? Ask Lenny “D$ckhead” Dykstra because he was able to do it.
I went on a rant last week about this celebrity boxing match between Dykstra and Canseco so I guess this qualifies as a second rant. I’m actually probably the biggest jerkoff because I’m the one writing about it. Anyway, Dykstra bailed on the celebrity fight scheduled for this weekend. The guy flat out never showed up. His excuse…
The Philadelphia Inquirer reported that Dykstra believed that he was never scheduled to fight
Did LSU vs. Alabama live up to it’s billing this weekend? I’ll say yes. The fans certainly thought so as the ratings indicated that the game drew the second-highest college football rating on CBS since 1987. As always there has to be a loser, and ‘Bama fans are feeling the pain this week.
While ‘Bama was losing in overtime, Oklahoma State was winning a shootout vs. Kansas State. If the season ended today, the Cowboys and Tigers would be headed to the BCS Championship game. Stanford and Boise State might have something to say about that before it’s all said and done. Let’s just say Oklahoma State and Stanford lose; do we give Boise State the nod vs. LSU (assuming they run it) or does ‘Bama sneak back in??
Let’s not get ahead of ourselves right now. Today is a day of morning for Crimson Tide nation. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the faces of broken BCS dreams….
