Football players, cheerleaders, and mascots from Marshall University and Florida International University visited the patients at All Children’s Hospital on Monday, December 19. They gave out team memorabilia, signed autographs and posed for pictures. The teams were in town to compete in the Annual Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl at Tropicana Field.
Mike Alstott was also on hand for the visit. Alstott, a retired Tampa Bay Buccaneer Fullback, was the Honorary Chairman for the Beef ‘O’ Brady’s Bowl. Alstott, frequent visitor to All Children’s, was accompanied by former Philidelphia Eagle Vince Papale, who inspired the Disney Movie “Invincible.”
