I guess we have to stomach this shortened NBA season. I think the Mavericks have a really good shot at a repeat. I’m going with the Mavs. I can’t wait until Lebron wins and there’s an asterisk next to his name because it’s a shortened season.

Little Kids Taekwondo is awesome. The dudes have so much gear on it’s virtually impossible to inflict any damage. They’re just throwing kicks around like they’re both Bruce Lee.
I’m enrolling my kid in Taekwondo the minute he can walk. These kids are badass. What’s also sweet is the World Taekwondo Federation is also known as WTF.
Eagles fans were able to throw Rex Ryan off of his game this weekend. The two feet-men were a big part of the Eagles 45-19 butt-kicking of the Jets on Sunday.
Old Rex and his foot-fetish – it may never get old. Hopefully, he can overcome it and focus on the Giants this weekend.
Man, talk about one of the most anti-climactic events in sports history. This has got to be one of them. Hooray! A female dunks in a game! OK, Lisa Leslie is 6’5 and you got guys like Nate Robinson dunking over Dwight Howard and he’s 5’9 if that. Sorry if I don’t have an orgasm because someone does the most basic, lame dunk I’ve ever seen.
Sure it’s groundbreaking because it was the first of its kind but Jesus, did anyone really care? I sure as hell hope not. I mean I can go to a Junior High School game and watch better dunks than this.
The NFL Fans have made it back for the 15th week, and as always they didn’t disappoint. Sadly, we only have a couple weeks left before this post hits the offseason. Let’s cherish these last couple weeks, shall we?
I expected to see more ‘Christmasy’ fans and less drunk crazies, but you never know with the die-hard NFL Fans. Not to get ahead of ourselves, but I expect some high quality material next week with some of the matchups.
First, enjoy the fans from Week 15.
Liverpool striker Luis Suarez has been suspended for eight matches and fined $62,000 after being found guilty of directing a racial insult at Manchester United defender Patrice Evra. An English Football Association panel decided Tuesday that Evra’s allegations had been proven. Evra, who is black, said Suarez referred to his race while insulting him during United’s Premier League match at Liverpool on Oct. 15.
I thought this article was relevant because it’s interesting to see the ways in which various professional sports leagues police themselves. There has been a history of racial controversy in soccer that prompts such a large penalty for an infraction. Oddly enough, most professional sports leagues in the states don’t have the guts to enforce something like that. Eight matches and $62,000 is the type of penalty that will prevent something like this from happening again. Perhaps, the NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB should take some notes.

Often times in the college world it’s cheerleaders at the likes of places like Miami or USC that get all the attention. And deservedly so. They have some of the best talent in the collegiate ranks. Thought I’d take the Oregon girls any day of the week.
However, we mustn’t forget about some of the other major college sports schools either. While North Carolina may not have the strongest football program in the nation, their spirit is sure in tact.
These pics were taken back in September at a football game versus UVA….
This is a no-brainer for some athletes. There are just some sports figures who are in the news all the time it drives you crazy. On the flip side, there are some folks that really deserve my publicity.
I was going to focus on the athletes who need to be in the news more often, but I decided to take a couple shots at the sports figures who I’m so sick and tired of hearing about. We’re not about to discriminate either. NFL, MLB, NHL whatever. Everyone is game.
Hit the jump and take a look at some professional athletes who are either in our face too much, or too little…
