I feel like going old school for a day this week. 5 Classic Nintendo Sports Games to bring you back to your childhood days, or maybe some fans are still banging on an old NES.

If there was a sports video game Hall of Fame these five games would definitely be in it. You can just see yourself now, blowing in the game to get it started, grabbing the little rectangular controller, and uttering under your breathe, “Let’s do this”

Check out 5 Classic Nintendo Sports Games after the jump….

5. Blades of Steel

Blades of Steel was the hockey game that got hockey games on the map. Nothing beats the intro…

4. Double Dribble

Double Dribble made every three-pointer epic. It also provided you with some sweet action scenes when you flushed one.

3. Mike Tyson’s Punch Out

Could be one of the greatest games ever made. The characters were amazing, and the game featured some lunatic named Mike Tyson. Whom they had to remove from the title.

2. Baseball

Nothing but arrogance to name the game “Baseball” – That’s just like a “yeah dude, this is the best baseball game out there”… and it was!

1. Tecmo Bowl

Tecmo Bowl was the game of all games. Bo Jackson use to light this game up. There was nothing better than dropping back 30 yards to throw the ball 80 yards.
