Rex Ryan might have had a bit of a struggle settling on a team to root for in the NHL’s Eastern Conference Finals, but his decision’s an easy one in the Stanley Cup Final. The New York Jets head coach was spotted at the Devils-Kings game on Wednesday night rooting for the hometown Devils, as evidence by his choice of attire. Technically, the Jets do play in New Jersey, so it seems that Ryan does have a reason to root for them, but you have to wonder if the same thing would have happened if the Rangers had advanced to the Final.
You think Rex actually gives a sh$t about the Devils? You know he would have been in the stands with a Rangers jersey if the Rangers beat the Devils. It’s nice to see Rex out with the family though. Although his in-game interview set off a Twitter firestorm.
