Ozzie Guillen wasn’t happy with Bryce Harper during Sunday’s Marlins-Nationals game, and he let the young rookie know it. In the top of the fourth inning with the Nats outfielder walking to the plate, the Marlins manager began screaming from his perch in the third-base dugout. He was motioning with a bat in his hands and was clearly upset, directing a few choice words Harper’s way. The feud started when Guillen complained to the umpires after Harper’s first at-bat. He felt the pine tar on his bat went too far up, so the Nationals advised their rookie to use a different one the next time up. Then in the fourth inning, as Harper walked to the plate, he pointed the bat towards the Marlins dugout and cracked a smile, setting Guillen off. The Nats Enquirer has compiled a play-by-play of the incident using screen shots from the Nationals broadcast.

What do you think? Two of the more unlikeable people in Major League Baseball today. I can’t stand Ozzie Guillen, but I’m taking his side on this one. There’s no doubt Bryce Harper plays his ass off, but he’s also a little arrogant sh$t. It’s pretty obvious the kid isn’t going to have many friends in baseball throughout his career. He should ask Ozzie what that’s like….
