Virginia Tech hasn’t been shy about pushing the envelope with their uniform designs. But one of its choices for helmets is sure to raise some eyebrows this fall.
A photo released by the Twitter account of the school’s football team shows the three different head gear that will be worn this season.
At the far right is a plain white helmet with two orange bird feet to signify the team’s Hokie mascot. It will be part of the uniform on Sept. 8 when Tech faces Austin Peay.

People are absolutely HATING on the chicken feet helmets! It’s awesome. They don’t really bother me. They’re stupid, but they don’t bother me. College football uniforms are out of control. It’s ridiculous.
