By now you’ve heard that Lance Armstrong has been stripped of all of his Tour de France medals. Cycling’s governing body agreed Monday to stripping Armstrong of his Tour de France titles, following a report from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency that accused him of leading a massive doping program on his teams.
If you take a step back and really think about this one the weight of this decision will actually hit you. Armstrong was stripped of ALL of his medals, a.k.a. he’s never won a thing. It’s pretty ridiculous.
This morning we pose the question; which athlete has had the biggest fall from grace in the past ten years? Hit the jump and you will see five athletes who somehow or another compromised themselves – who was the worst?
5. Kobe Bryant – Los Angeles Lakers
Kobe Bryant wasn’t always liked by everyone to begin with, but the incident in Colorado in 2003 in many ways ruined Kobe. Fortunately for him, he’s been able to put it behind him and move on. Kobe has time on his side because it was 9 years ago, but sexual assault accusations are sexual assault accusations, and Kobe will never shake them.

The only thing that was ridiculous was the assumption that “Armstrong was clean”. He was a never-was until cancer took away some of his weight and he started taking drugs. He’s the biggest chemical fraud since Ben Johnson, and that includes Marion Jones and many others.
