If you enjoy football—which we assume most of you do—yesterday marked a pretty cool day as the Steelers traveled to New York to take on the Giants.
While the two team’s might not be your favorite, the quarterback matchup between Big Ben Roethlisberger and Eli Manning was something that should be celebrated. Why? Not because they put up a ton of yards or touchdowns—their stats were quite pedestrian actually—but because they had not only won four Super Bowls between them, and they were drafted in the same class (2004).
That got us thinking about some of the other draft classes that boasted some serious accolades, and though it’s difficult to really rank the best, we wanted to take a stab at it.
Headlined by Troy Aikman, who won three Super Bowls, this class also boasted Hall of Famers Deion Sanders, Derrick Thomas, and the retired-way-too-early Barry Sanders.
Besides just these household names, the class also produced 20 other guys who were voted to Pro Bowls, but the four aforementioned guys were by far the best.
