While in college we actually had a roommate who happened to be one of these. You might have no idea who they are, but during a college football or basketball season, they’re heavily relied on to get the little things done. What’s worse is that you’re the fall guy if something goes wrong.

From shining the helmets, to stocking inventory for games, these guys are typically working 12+ hour days, trying to balance their work schedule with classes.

Though it helps pay tuition and you get to travel to some away games, we’d like to think if you’re that involved with the team, you might as well just be the punter or something. At least you’d have a chance to go pro in that.
