In a recent interview with Mike Garafolo of USA TODAY Sports, J.J. Watt discussed the recent day he spent with some students from Sandy Hook Elementary School. The discussion was inspired by a photograph Watt tweeted Friday of himself lined up in a playful, defensive stance against five youngsters who were visiting Reliant Stadium. If you haven’t seen the photo, take a look. The broad smiles and wondrous stares on the faces of the students give you goosebumps. If you already have seen the picture, it’s worth another view.

“I just kind of wanted to give them as normal a day as possible, just running around, having fun, going out on the field,” Watt told USA TODAY Sports. “We were kicking field goals. They were trying to put it through the uprights. Just be kids. And to see them in a normal setting, having fun and big smiles on their faces was awesome.”

Awesome move by J.J. Watt here. The NFL’s sack leader and potential defensive player of the year seems like a good dude too. Rarity.
