This is something right out of the movie Days of Thunder. Only this isn’t a movie Carl. Pretty dick move if you ask me. When you’re driving 180 MPH it’s probably not a good idea to undercut the guy ahead of you.

It appears that all the stars were aligned on Saturday March 6th.   On that day the Nevada Women’s basketball team lost to Idaho 69-62.  A.  I love that the number “69″ was in the final score (I don’t care how childish that is).

B.  The Nevada Cheerleaders were in some serious form.  You can bet your ass that some of the ladies ballers were digging the performances.

I’ll admit it. Even I was saying that the addition of Shaq was bad for the Cavs. Fact of the matter is, he just might put them over the top this year (barring injury).

I seriously doubt it’s something they do here in the states but using a mall to warmly welcome a new cheering squad is definitely a tactic I quite enjoy.  England definitely knows what’s up.

Last Saturday, Reading’s Berkshire Mall was the site of the unveiling of the 2010 Smokin’ Hot Steam Team. The ladies had a chance to introduce themselves to the fans, perform a few routines and helped younger fans in a dance contest.

The Steam Team will take the field at the Express first home game on Sunday, March 21st

Well good for you steamers!  If you like English cheerleaders there’s a nice gallery of mall girls after the jump

Did anyone catch the Lakers against the Magic on Sunday? If you did it was a pretty decent game to watch. If this winds up being a finals rematch I still think the Lakers would win but the Magic certainly got the best of LA on that day.

Still though, Matt Barnes. Come on man. You’re not that good. I can’t stand players who aren’t very good that talk a lot of trash and try to annoy players.

Kobe clearly wasn’t having any of that.

Seattle_Seagals_1

In what has to be the most under the radar cheering squad in the NFL this past season, The Seattle Seagals were of the highest quality.  I had absolutely no clue that these girls were so incredible.

Normally you hear of the likes of the Laker Girls or Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders when you think of professional squads.  Well this year I’m pushing for the Seagals to make names for themselves.

Just one Playboy shoot is all it would take.

Until then, here’s a nice gallery of the Gals in action

I don’t care how chauvinist it sounds. Women’s basketball is horrible. If I wanted to watch Men’s JV hoops then I’d go to some crappy gym on Long Island and watch a game. But let’s face it. The skill level is terrible and the world goes nuts when a chick barely dunks? No thanks.

But seeing chicks punch each other? Well that’s pretty cool.

As long as soccer keeps bringing the goods I’m going to keep endorsing the sport. The latest in a season of grueling cheerleading auditions comes from the FC Dallas squad.

In the past two weeks, these ladies have experienced a lot and they are fully invested. They’ve been through prelims, interviews, and training camp. They’ve had a chance to work with super talented guest choreographer Roger Lee.

Come on, let’s face it.  They all deserve a spot on this team.  But unfortunately some ladies are gonna have to go home.  We’re not really interested in that though.
