You see, with Chris Webber, at least he had a really really good NBA career. I mean at his peak the guy was putting up hall of fame numbers. So one can look back at this moment in the life of Webber’s basketball career as merely a glitch. And currently I think he does a pretty solid job as an NBA analyst.
I just feel bad for the guys who have had terrible moments like these and have never recovered. I’m fully convinced that Adam Morrison could have at least been a half decent NBA player but his little wussy crying reaction on the court scarred him for life.
It’s moments like these that build character. Or in some cases, break you.
We’ve covered cheerleaders from many different walks of life on this website. I mean we talked about cheerleaders for video games at one point. We showed you girls that root for Rugby teams and even Cricket Cheerleaders.
For some reason I left out Auto Racing and that’s where you’ll find some of the best cheerleaders in the world. It’s just that they’re not called cheerleaders. They’re called “Promo Girls.” However, let’s face the facts. As much as pro teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and FIFA have their amazing ladies to cheer them on, Auto Racing is a fine place to find beautiful support.

I have to admit that most of the commercials for Budweiser are humorous. Remember the little Budweiser frogs? Remember the real men of genius stuff? I mean humor is definitely a cornerstone of their campaigning.
However, did you guys notice something about yesterday’s Superbowl? Budweiser got a little serious for a moment. Hell their Platinum beer bottle commercials felt like technology ads. But how about the commercial I’m sharing right here?
Have you ever seen a Bud commercial that take on an inspirational feel? Hell I felt the whole Nike “just do it” vibe here didn’t know? Which honestly was pretty refreshing all while subliminally saying to me “do it all with an Ice Cold Bud.”

As much as athleticism, huge muscles, and collaboration with your opponent are important in the world of the WWE, so is showmanship. And while to a certain extent that’s something you can teach an individual, some people have an inherent gift.
This guy? He’s got that gift. I seriously doubt too many people would ad lib a fake punch to a 5 year old’s face after getting out of the ring. Clearly this guy was acting.
But how about that dude on the left who’s clapping? Hmmmm.
Did anyone happen to catch this year’s senior bowl game? Neither did I. Apparently it’s kind of a big deal. If I had to take a guess, significantly more significant than the Pro Bowl. I mean here’s where some of the collegiate best can showcase for scouts before heading out to make their NFL dreams come true.
And my oh my who in the hell were the cheerleaders for this game? At first I thought it was the Eagles Cheerleaders because of the outfits. Then I thought because it took place in Alabama, maybe the Crimson Tide girls? But then I realized they looked like pro cheerleaders and not college cheerleaders.

Anyone else geeked up about the Superbowl? Call me biased but even if you’re not a Pats or Giants fan I would have to think that most of the country is pretty psyched to watch this thing. Maybe I’m wrong and maybe I’m saying this because I am in fact a Giants fan.
But come on. Who doesn’t love a good old fashioned rematch being played in the house that Eli’s big brother built? Other than this kind of big game on Sunday I’m not focused on too much right now.

I don’t exactly get much time to observe the International Basketball League. I would imagine that most of you are probably in the same boat. Fact is, even if I could I don’t think the level of the athletes is quite as high as our NBA guys so it’s not as likely that I’d want to watch.
However, the folks in Vancouver might disagree. Now I’m not saying that their Volcanoes squad is all that talented. But I will say that their cheerleaders are certainly worth a peek.

Judging by the weather I’m pretty sure that this took place before the 49ers and Giants playoff game. And who knew? The 49ers didn’t lose because they got outplayed.
