Remember when you were a little kid and you used to think that Pro Wrestling was real?  For the life of me I can’t remember the turning point in my life when I realized how stupid it was.  Granted it’s crazy entertaining and these guys are some of the best athletes in the world, but come on!

When you see clips like this part of it is laughable and then part of it makes me say to myself “Vince McMahon is a billionaire, yes a billionaire.”  That’s just flat out unacceptable.

You guys might recall me mentioning that there’s really no such thing as an offseason for NFL Cheerleaders.   Well the same thing goes for the Colts girls.   They were busy bees with their tryouts, charity work, and whatever else it is they were doing.

During one of the March Fort Wayne Mad Ants home games, there was twice the cheer! In addition to the Madame Ants, six Colts Cheerleaders arrived to help greet fans as they entered Allen County’s War Memoral Coliseum, then they served as the halftime entertainment, and lastly provided autographs for the scores of Colts (and Colts Cheerleaders) fans in attendance.

After practice at the Knicks’ training facility, point guard Jeremy Lin participated in a 3-on-3 full-court scrimmage as he continues to make progress after his April knee surgery.  He also showed off his physique after the workout.  But alas there’s some weird stuff going on in this photo.

Who the hell is that kid in the background? And what the hell is up with Landry Fields here?  Is he not staring at Lin’s ass?  I mean I know these guys are friends and all but come on folks.   That’s a definite ass look if I’ve ever seen one.

I hope this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Lin in NY.  Photo via

That’s right, Georgia defensive lineman John Jenkins likes to suck his thumb when he’s sleeping. We know this because teammate Tavarres King posted a photo of the 351-pound Jenkins sleeping, well, like a baby.

Personally I would have liked this to have been from the NFL but college is just as good.   I’m just waiting for the day we see Tim Tebow sucking his teets like this.   It’s bound to happen but let’s give a quick shout out to Tavarres.  Nicely done fella!

Credit to Lost Letterman for this one.

The Wings Angels closed out the regular season back on April 6th. So this may have well been the last game for Angels Captain Lauren who is hanging up her boots after 5 seasons and 50 games.  Other than that I have no idea what to say.   I just know it’s been a pleasure posting pictures of these girls for the last few months.

I look forward to next season and finding an excuse to cover indoor lacrosse.

I’m sure you guys know how big a fan we are of Gina Carano.  She very well might be my favorite woman athlete of all time.   Think about it for a second.  Carano can clearly beat up anyone I know.   That’s huge.   By that rationale she would simply own me at anything else.

Second of all, she’s now in Hollywood.  And I have no problems watching her in badass roles.   I mean I don’t know if Haywire was any good.   I don’t really care.  I just know that she’ll clearly do better than Pamela Anderson did in Barbwire.  At least I hope she does.

Meh, it’s definitely worth a rental.   Let me know if you guys have seen it.

Last week we brought you some solid pictures of the Redskins Cheerleader Tryouts.   And while those photos were good, they weren’t all that professional.  The quality was a little crappy.   Whoever took the photos definitely was in motion most of the time.   So we didn’t really get as good a glimpse as we were hoping.  Not today though.

I managed to find a more complete source for photos.   These were succinct, detailed, and sexy in a way that only the Redskins could do.

You know what’s so significant about this race?  I mean yes, Ben Johnson exposed the Olympics to steroids and this was clearly the biggest exposure in the history of sports up until that day.   But think about this for a second.  Have the incidences of PEDs since this event gone up or down?

I think it’s actually kind of hilarious when you really examine it.   I mean we’re talking baseball, Lance Armstrong, and about a gazillion other stories since Ben Johnson took the gold in ’88.   So much for awareness and preventing this stuff.

Hell I think Ben Johnson paved the way for steroid use.
