Have any of you watched Shaq vs.? You have to admit it’s a pretty damned entertaining show. Even though the idea was little Stevie Nash’s one must admit it’s much better with a 7 footer who is a funny dude than a Canadian who happens to be a better athlete that just about anyone.
And even though lots of the challenges are kind of lame with the handicaps and all it’s definitely an original and fun concept. But what else can we see Shaq do? I happen to have some requests here.
Here are five you might enjoy….
Don’t you guys think that Scottie Pippen getting a statue is a little much? Pippen was a great player in his own right. Don’t get me wrong. But shouldn’t a statue be for the best player of a team’s history. I mean let’s face it. Scottie Pippen was a key to all the Bulls championships but he wasn’t a team carrier or anything like that. I don’t know man. I don’t get it.
All I do know is that there are players out there who are statueless and are far more deserving than Pippen.
Here are five worth noting….
I gotta tell you I’m pretty ready for the NBA season to start and all this drama offseason crap to stop. I mean let’s give it a rest shall we? You know what would be great? If every player had a clause in their contract stating they had to shut up and say nothing to the media at all in the preseason. I would absolutely love that.
But as it stands the only thing I really follow other than headlines is the cheerleaders. And from the looks of it, the NBA is gonna have a nice crop this year.

There are ways to handle things and there are ways to look like a total jerk. Personally I think Dan Gilbert and Lebron are acting like little girls. Gilbert is sounding like the little wuss who got dumped and Lebron just can’t let it go. He may think he’s being the bigger man but every single time he opens his mouth it’s drama and it’s dumb.
This crap goes beyond the game of basketball and it’s truly upsetting. How hard would it be to say to the press, “I don’t want to discuss this anymore. Dan is free to have his opinions. I just want to get to practice and focus on winning a championship.” If Lebron said that, shut up, and didn’t say shit until the season he would have my respect and surely many others.
But the man is a show. A great player but also a show. I for one am hating him more and more and you have to imagine there’s some former NBA guys that must be furious…..
I think one of my favorite things in all of sport is seeing fans get into it. It’s especially funny when you’re in a season where “rival” meet and one team is clearly 100 times better than the other yet the die hard fans start bringing up history and the yelling ensues. It’s all part of the game and it’s fun stuff.
But when it comes to etiquette I think there’s some things you just don’t do at a sporting event. I mean there’s nothing wrong with talking shit but some places take it pretty seriously on how you go about doing so.
So be careful what you wear kids. These five jerseys are liable to get you in trouble if you wear them in the wrong place…..
Good players seem to be getting younger and younger these days in the National Basketball Association. It’s not quite like tennis when you’re basically through past the age of 25. But remember the 70s where white dudes had high socks and looked like they were 40? I mean granted 35 is definitely old for the NBA but you don’t see too many good players at that age these days.
And you’d be surprised at how old some players who have been in the league for a long long time are. You’d think they hit the 35 year mark. But no. They might have some juice left.

I’m not a huge fan of posting videos of women, but in this case I’ll make an exception. We’re talking unbelievably sexy here folks. Just sit back and enjoy the video. The chick goes by one name!! That’s how you know she’s sexy. Also, my personal favorite is the idiot who posted the message “I’d hit it”…. Must have been a tough call.
While I can’t think of many scenarios better than eating in a Hooters where all the waitresses are legitimately attractive, I suppose that adding real cheerleaders to the mix helps greatly. I’ve managed to find some pictures of real athlete cheering squads and ladies called “Hoots” which I think is Hooters version of their own cheerleaders.
OK, it’s their waitresses but I’m really trying to stretch the limits of this site so I can include hot girls and sports. What the hell is sporty about this post other than the fact I might use a lot of effort to masturbate soon.
