Kentucky holding onto the top spot for the third consecutive week. Admittedly, I haven’t been following the Wildcats that closely. I did however hear the experts gushing over the freshman big Anthony Davis.

It’s not so much that sh$t went down after this game was over, it’s more so the big picture of what I was looking at. A legitimately competitive roller hockey game, with roller skates, with guys laying on the playing surface in tears from losing. Those aren’t even real hockey sticks! My mind is going bonkers after watching this – what the fug just happened!?

I don’t think any one of us would have done anything different, but face it – you and I aren’t on TV during the Super Bowl being watched by a hundred million people. I give Jake Ballard credit though, he was obviously hurt and he tried to make a go of it. Let’s just hope all pro athletes are like that – probably not though.. FYI – the end result was a torn meniscus and sprained knee..

You see, with Chris Webber, at least he had a really really good NBA career.  I mean at his peak the guy was putting up hall of fame numbers.   So one can look back at this moment in the life of Webber’s basketball career as merely a glitch.  And currently I think he does a pretty solid job as an NBA analyst.

I just feel bad for the guys who have had terrible moments like these and have never recovered.   I’m fully convinced that Adam Morrison could have at least been a half decent NBA player but his little wussy crying reaction on the court scarred him for life.

It’s moments like these that build character.  Or in some cases, break you.

I’m just fuggin’ piling on Gisele Bundchen for her antics lately. I’ll admit I’m being a little too hard on her, but talk about a poor showing this past Super Bowl week. In case you missed this – here’s a video of Gisele sh$tting on Brady’s teammates for losing the game on Sunday. Here’s what I will say about the situation; yeah, it sucks her e-mail went public, but she didn’t help her cause with that comment after the game. You just don’t go there.

I decided to put her in a small group that I would consider – the Top 4 Worst WAGs in the Game Right Now. You really have to try your best to look past the outer beauty of these individuals. Gisele Bundchen is one of the most attractive women on the planet today. However, we’re talking sports WAGs here now, and she sucks at it.

Cameron Diaz

You’d think she’d be in the clear now, right? Her and A-Rod haven’t been together in a while…. What we’re finding is the “popcorn incident” like a negative score on your credit report can last up to seven years. Just add in the fact she was head-over-heels for A-Rod, and essentially got jerked around by A-Rod, and you have yourself a pretty awful WAG.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck

I’m happy I stretched the rules to accommodate Mrs. Hasselbeck here. I know her husband played pro football for six minutes, but we’re going to make an exception. If you know about Elisabeth, you know she is Satan. You know that hell is without a ruler because she’s here on earth. If you don’t know about her, Google works.

Kim Kardashian

Surprise surprise. Look who’s on the list. Kim Kardashian is the anti-christ of WAGs. She’s the kryptonite. Why do you think Tebow ran from her like Ray Lewis was chasing him. I wonder if she’ll ever get off this list – probably not.

Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant has passed former teammate Shaquille O’Neal and moved into fifth place on the NBA’s career scoring list. Bryant needed 24 points to pass O’Neal entering Monday night’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers. O’Neal retired with 28,596 points. Bryant nailed a long jumper late in the first half to give him 24 points. O’Neal and Bryant often clashed, even while leading the Lakers to NBA championships in 2000, 2001 and 2002.

I wonder how Shaq is going to try and discredit Kobe here?  The fact of the matter is;  for a long time Shaq has had Kobe envy. He hates that Kobe’s name is mentioned with Michael, and he’s nowhere to be found. He truly wants people to think that Kobe wouldn’t have won a thing without him (which could be close to true). Here’s the bottom line; I don’t really like either guy – but they are ambassadors for the game of basketball. I know the game of basketball is in a better place because of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. It’s just obnoxious that they’ve also incorporated all this nonsense into their legacies.

We’ve covered cheerleaders from many different walks of life on this website.    I mean we talked about cheerleaders for video games at one point.  We showed you girls that root for Rugby teams and even Cricket Cheerleaders.

For some reason I left out Auto Racing and that’s where you’ll find some of the best cheerleaders in the world.   It’s just that they’re not called cheerleaders.  They’re called “Promo Girls.”   However, let’s face the facts.  As much as pro teams in the NFL, NBA, MLB, and FIFA have their amazing ladies to cheer them on, Auto Racing is a fine place to find beautiful support.

We are going to close our coverage on Super Bowl XLVI with this final blog. Reflecting on the game; it wasn’t Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Tom Coughling, or anyone else that truly deserved to win that game. Robert Kraft, the owner of the Patriots, is one individual who we believe truly deserved to win the Super Bowl.

Kraft’s beloved wife, Myra, died days before the lockout ended last July, and football became an escape for his grief. He played a critical role in the negotiations that ended the lockout, with Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday going so far as to call him “a man who helped us save football.” So the Patriots wore patches with “MHK” above their hearts, and a painting in the middle of the locker room showed a huddle of Patriots, their fingers pointed skyward beneath her initials “MHK.”

A Super Bowl trophy would have been the perfect ending to their story, the ultimate joy to balance the ultimate pain. Giants owners John Mara and Steve Tisch are some of Kraft’s closest friends in the NFL, and he said earlier in the week that if he had to lose to someone, at least it would be to them. But some losses cut a little deeper than others. Kraft spoke to a few players in the locker room before making a quick exit. “It’s tough for all of us,” Brady said. “Certainly I wish we would have gotten it for him.”

The fact of the matter is there may have no even been a Super Bowl this year without Mr. Kraft. His wife was a truly remarkable person who helped others. Sometimes things don’t happen the way they should. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Eli and co. are undeserving of the title, but stories like this usually don’t end this way. I think it’s very important people recognize Bob Kraft even in defeat.

I have to admit that most of the commercials for Budweiser are humorous.   Remember the little Budweiser frogs?  Remember the real men of genius stuff?  I mean humor is definitely a cornerstone of their campaigning.

However, did you guys notice something about yesterday’s Superbowl?  Budweiser got a little serious for a moment.  Hell their Platinum beer bottle commercials felt like technology ads.    But how about the commercial I’m sharing right here?

Have you ever seen a Bud commercial that take on an inspirational feel?  Hell I felt the whole Nike “just do it” vibe here didn’t know? Which honestly was pretty refreshing all while subliminally saying to me “do it all with an Ice Cold Bud.”
